Epithalon, also known as Epitalon, is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) that is being investigated for its potential anti-aging and longevity-enhancing properties. It's a lab-made version of a natural pineal peptide hormone called epithalamin. Epithalon is believed to work by stimulating the production of telomerase, an enzyme that helps maintain and repair telomeres, the protective caps on the ends of chromosomes. Telomere shortening is associated with cellular aging and reduced function, so Epithalon may help slow down this process
