• Mechanism of Action: LGD-2226 acts as a selective androgen receptor agonist, binding to androgen receptors and triggering anabolic effects in muscle and bone tissue. It shows tissue selectivity in animal models, promoting muscle and bone growth with less impact on prostate weight and luteinizing hormone levels compared to testosterone. LGD-2226 does this by occupying the same binding pocket as dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and forming similar hydrogen bond interactions.
